The drama is an adaptation of the diary of a Japanese girl named Aya Kitō, who suffered from spinocerebellar ataxia.
The diary, titled 1 rittoru no namida, was published shortly before her death. Although some of the characters and situations are fictionalized in this television version, the dialogue frequently draws directly from Aya Kitô's own words. Moreover, each episode concludes with a narrated diary excerpt, framed with photographs from various stages in Kitô's life, before and after her diagnosis. The screenplay thus attempts to balance between faithfully working with actual text from the book, 1 rittoru no namida, while also inventing situational contexts so as to portray the struggles of the book's characters in dramatic scenarios.
The character Haruto Asô, for example, does not exist in the original diary; however, as a fictional character created for this series, he provides an important mechanism through which Aya's inner feelings, the diary's language on a page, can become more fully actualized as part of a day-to-day narrative.

PlotA nerdy valedictorian proclaims his love for most popular girl in school – Beth Cooper (Panettiere) – during his graduation speech.
Much to his surprise, Beth shows up at his door that very night and decides to show him the best night of his life.
In early 2008 it was revealed that the novel, I Love You Beth Cooper was to be made into a film, with Heroes actress Hayden Panettiere in the title role.
Filming took place at Centennial Secondary School, Magee Secondary School and at St. Patrick's Regional Secondary; which are all located in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Well, as i've said before i love Hayden Panettiere for reals, so i'm gonna wait for it's release.
But i'm not that sure if it will show here in Bataan her film.
Agh, because our city is not that big as Manila or Pampanpanga. And if they won't show it, im gonna download it

Well, why the title of this post is "
What's new today? Not that good." It's because, our neighbor died an hour ago. And im really shocked. Well the original story of this is, when my mom woke me up. Because it's getting too late, i mean it's lunch time
na but still i'm sleeping.
Then my mom said when she woke me up, "
Patay na si Aling Adora" and then, i can't really believe what happened to her, then i was walking down the stairs and she said, "
Di pala alam ni Iris na may sakit yung nanay nya, pano pa ngaun na wala na pala ang mama nya."
Once again, i was really shocked. Hayy, geez. I don't even know what to say. Well, my full symphaty to their family. :/
